I learned the fascination of photography from my father from a very young age. He catalogued our lives as we travelled the globe and well into our late adulthood. Being a coastal geomorphologist, some of Dad's key interests were coastal formations and the ever-present influence of coastal erosion, As he travelled through various countries studying these phenomena, I formed a deep connection with coastal imagery. Needless to say Dad took many photos along the way, and as a child I learned that light was a key emotional influence on me. In turn as I crafted my own photography, I sought to evoke emotion in each image I made. Australian beaches are some of the best in the world and the images on this site are a glimpse of their unique beauty. I hope you find it as inspiring as I do.
